Aspen Consulting Group (ACG) is seeking an Electronic Warfare (EW) Engineering Intern to work for the US Army’s DEVCOM C5ISR Center in APG, Maryland. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working college student that is self-motivated and willing to pursue “outside-the-box” ideas and concepts to enhance and optimize development projects. The ability to understand and communicate highly complex technical concepts and requirements in embedded applications is required.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in electronics or computer science engineering with study interests in:
- RF modeling and simulation in MATLAB for EW threat analysis and defeat assessment.
- Complex RADAR and modern communication signal protocols.
- DSP and FPGA embedded processing and techniques development.
- Entry level skills in C/C++, Python, Java, and other programming languages for software development.
- Entry level skills in advanced mathematics for high performance scientific computing for algorithm development.
- Entry level skills in DSP and FPGA embedded processing.
- Entry level skills in Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools are a plus.
- Core Knowledge in Electronics Engineering is highly desirable.
- Core Knowledge in Computer Architectures is highly desirable.
- Core Knowledge in Physics is desirable.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with long term ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
