Kean Skylands is excited to announce that we are hiring Field Trip Instructors to help lead our hands-on, environmental field trips for K–12 students!
This flexible, part-time role is perfect for anyone passionate about education, the outdoors, and making a meaningful impact. Instructors will guide students through engaging environmental lessons aligned with State and NGSS standards. This is an in-person position based on our campus in Oak Ridge, NJ.
- What You’ll Do:
- Lead K-12 environmental lessons based on State and NGSS standards
- Build strong relationships with faculty, staff, and stakeholders
- Be part of an inspiring team and contribute to exciting educational programs
- What We’re Looking For:
- Field knowledge of flora, fauna, and ecosystems
- Familiarity with NGSS and State Content Standards
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A self-starter who loves working collaboratively and thinking outside the box
- Ability to conduct K-12 classes outdoors under varied conditions
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
- Flexibility to work up to 25 hours per week, as needed
- Creative, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy
