At Radisson Blu, you’ll gain insight into the day-to-day operations of an international hotel brand focused on delivering memorable guest experiences. The brand’s “Yes I Can!” service philosophy emphasizes a positive, professional approach to hospitality and creating memorable moments for guests.
Depending on your interests and the needs of your host organization, your internship could involve supporting guest services, hotel operations, food and beverage, meetings and events, marketing or tourism-related activities.
You may also gain experience supporting meetings and events, which are an important part of the Radisson Blu guest experience. Radisson Blu hotels offer dedicated meeting and event spaces alongside accommodation, dining and other guest services.
Our program supports your professional development through hands-on experience, career success coaching and guidance from industry professionals. Develop your communication, organization and customer service skills while gaining an international perspective on the hospitality and tourism industry.
Cost and funding
Our program fees include your accommodation while you’re abroad and a range of exciting extras like social events within a vibrant community, career success coaching, and much more.
The fees for these services vary depending on your program type and start date, starting from $1,190 USD for our remote program and $2,990 USD for our in-person programs. You can easily explore detailed costs on our website – plus, we’ve got funding alternatives to help you plan.
Once accepted, you’ll need to secure your spot with a deposit equal to £800 in your destination’s currency. The rest of the program fee is split into two installments.
Many of our participants have offset their costs with scholarships or grants. If you’re a U.S. college student receiving a Pell Grant, you’re eligible for a $500 discount on our In-Person and Digital Nomad programs.
Responsibilities
Some responsibilities that you may have whilst completing this Hospitality, Events & Tourism internship program include:
- Support day-to-day hotel operations and guest services.
- Welcome guests and assist with enquiries throughout their stay.
- Support meetings, conferences and events, including planning and coordination.
- Assist with reservations, bookings and other guest-related administration.
- Help coordinate food and beverage or hospitality activities.
- Support marketing, promotions and social media activities for hotel services and events.
- Research local tourism attractions, travel trends and guest preferences.
- Assist with improving the guest experience and gathering customer feedback.
- Help prepare event materials, schedules and presentations.
- Work collaboratively with different hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.

Start dates & time commitment

- In-person programs usually demand a full-time commitment for your internship (40 hours a week).
- Remote and Digital Nomad programs can be full-time (40 hours a week) or part-time (10, 20 or 30 hours a week).
