Overview
Turn your passion for film, television and visual storytelling into practical industry experience.
At Small Films, you’ll gain insight into the full video production process, from developing an initial concept through pre-production and filming to editing and final delivery.
Depending on your interests, you could support creative development, production planning, filming, editing, animation, social content or digital campaigns.
You’ll gain practical experience while building a portfolio and developing an understanding of how professional production teams create video content for different audiences and platforms.
Cost and funding
Program fees include accommodation while abroad, social events, career success coaching and more. Programs start from $1,190 USD for remote programs and $2,990 USD for in-person programs. See program fees for full details and funding options.
Once accepted, you’ll pay a deposit equivalent to £800, with the remaining fee split into two installments.
U.S. college students receiving a Pell Grant are eligible for a $500 discount on In-Person and Digital Nomad programs.
Responsibilities

Start dates & time commitment
Start dates are available throughout the year, with programs lasting 4–24 weeks.
- In-person programs are usually full-time (40 hours/week).
- Remote and Digital Nomad programs can be full-time or part-time (10, 20 or 30 hours/week).
