Internships & Experiential Learning

What is an Internship?

According to the National Association of Colleges & Employers (NACE):

Internships give students the opportunity to gain valuable applied experience and make connections in professional fields they are considering for career paths; and give employers the opportunity to guide and evaluate talent.”

Students are strongly encouraged to gain career experience through internship opportunities, as it will confirm a career path, enhance a resume and increase employability after graduation.

Internships may (or may not) be for academic credit and some internships are paid, while others are not.

How to Register Internships

Internships can be either paid or unpaid engagements. The goal is to obtain relevant work experience in your field of study. We encourage students to submit both for-credit and non-credit internships!
