Students

Getting Started

Whether you may need support with Career Exploration, Career Planning and Development or Career Readiness, the Office of Career Services supports students as they take the next step on their #CougarCareerJourney! While we don’t provide direct job or internship placements, we do provide students with the tools and support needed to be successful in a job search journey.

What We Offer

The Office of Career Services offers support to all students, from on-campus and commuting students to undergraduate and graduate students. Students may set up time to meet with a career advisor one-on-one or attend various workshops, networking events, drop-in hours and career fairs. Students meet with staff to discuss the following topics:

  • Resume Writing
  • Job Search Strategies for full time, part time and internships
  • Interview Preparation
  • Career Exploration

Throughout the year, we offer workshops focused on current trends and topics in the job market. Access to our career resources is offered to students here at the Virtual Career Center 24/7.
